What if……..
Wow… I tell ya…. I was just thinking this afternoon what if the man below in this “You Tube” would have been elected the Illinois senator in 2004 instead of Obama… (he did debate and run against Obama you know!) If…… he had won that seat…. and then If he had gone on to become our first African American President…. I would have been thrilled! This man knows the constitution and would have been able to truly uphold it like the President swears to do when he places his hand on the Bible… And as far as his intelligence, eloquence and just common sense, none of the other candidates could hold a candle to this guy. (I liked Huckabee and voted for him in the primaries cause I thought he might have a chance, but truthfully Keyes has a “statesman” type of verbal gifting that is unmatched.)
Sigh……. he didn’t even make a blip on the political radar screen.
The You Tube below was done during the Ten Commandments monument debate a couple years ago. (Listen to his in-depth understanding of the constitution!) I am also going to include a link to another video concerning his standing on the Second Amendment for good measure.
Listen to this and enjoy some “political sanity” for a change…… and pray that as we “remake and reform” the conservative movement that the Lord would see fit to include Alan Keyes and men like him.

I used to like him a few years ago. I think he needs to calm down sometimes. But yes, I hope he could be apart of the future of the Republican party.

That is true… he gets very passionate about things. Maybe if he can’t get into office he could easily do a talk radio show or something!
@BeeyondSight - That is, IF there will be any conservative talk radio after Obama gets in the office. Remember, Pelosi already stated that the fairness doctrine is coming back.
It is good that he ran against Obama, wish he had won. We probably would’ve him as the President. He does have passionate for what He is talking about. I didn’t realize the conservative talk radio would go off the air? I didnt know that “fairness doctrine” is coming back….well that figure’s . it is super you posted this for us to take notice the youtube does help in hearing instead of always reading.

True, I forgot about the fairness doctrine… you know I hope that doesn’t effect Christian radio!
Oh, it absolutely will effect it. When it was in place before there was no conservative or Christian talk radio. Some of the ones I listen to say they will shut down before abiding by the doctrine. There is even talk of expanding it to the INTERNET!!!
That was good. And, it makes me think it would behooves us all to study our Constitution more.
