    Russian Spacecraft to Knockout Asteroid

“MOSCOW – Russia’s space chief said Wednesday his agency will consider
sending a spacecraft to a large asteroid to knock it off its path and
prevent a possible collision with Earth.

Anatoly Perminov said the space agency will hold a meeting soon to assess a mission to Apophis, telling Golos Rossii radio that it would invite NASA, the European Space Agency, the Chinese space agency and others to join the project once it is finalized.

    When
the 270-meter (885-foot) asteroid was first discovered in 2004,
astronomers estimated the chances of it smashing into Earth in its
first flyby in 2029 were as high as 1-in-37.”

  • Wrong Way Wright Quotes

Wow… get a load of these quotes from none other than the Rev Jeremiah
Wright!  He was addressing Monthly Review magazine, (a magazine for
socialists and marxists.)  Do you remember when everyone was asking during the campaign.. “Gee, do you think Obama’s pastor and spiritual mentor might have kind of “socialist leanings”?  LOL There is no guessing now as to his political
leanings… he comes out pretty plain about it.

Soooo… what would it have been like to have listened to this guy for 20 years?!  Just asking…..

    Bee

(Monthly Review the Independent Socialist Magazine
    http://www.monthlyreview.org/)

REVEREND WRIGHT: “This magazine unflinchingly has tackled the tough
issues from McCarthyism to militarism, from the Chinese revolution
through the Canadian revolution to the Cuban revolution, from the lies
told by United States presidents to the lies told by the United States
media. We celebrate tonight six decades of dedicated service.

    REVEREND WRIGHT:
“You stayed up front. Your starting point is, quote, no
nonsense Marxism, unquote. But you dispel all the negative images we
have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word
    “Socialism” or “Marxism.”

    REVEREND WRIGHT: “
Grateful for the opportunity to bring you a word of
Thanksgiving from those who don’t ordinarily get a hearing unless they
go along with the program, sing in tune with whatever is the popular
tune and stay in lockstep with the political pundits who tell us what
is politically correct, what is permissible and what will be tolerated
from a person of color in this land, the land of the greed and the home
of the brave excuse me, the land of the greed and home of the slave.”
    (Applause).

    REVEREND WRIGHT:
“For the people. My work with liberation theology, with
Latin American theologians, with the Black Theology Project and what
the Cuban Council of Churches taught me 30 years ago the importance of
Marx and the Marxist analysis of the sociologies of the vulnerable and
the oppressed who were trying desperately to break free of the
political economies undergirded by this country that were choking them
and cutting off any hope of a possible future where all of the people
would benefit. My exposure to the FMLN in El Salvador, the Sandinistas
in Nicaragua and my presence at the 15th Jamahiriya in Libya taught me
what I have read in the pages of the Monthly Review which is as Joshua
Stanton says, though we need not always agree with one another, we must
do the work necessary to at least understand one another.

  • Important Information!

We must contact our Senators about this ASAP!
(and pray for the United States of America!)

Note: The treaty requires two thirds of a vote in the senate to pass… so there is still time… barely.
BTW to find your Senator or representative here is a search engine that will pull up that information specifically for your address.

  • The Lord is Our Dwelling Place

When the Lord is our “dwelling place” we have no need to fear, even if all around us is falling apart, He is our refuge and fortress.  This does not mean that tragedy will never strike us…. it will…. and it has.  In our lives yesterday we lost a very dear friend to a sudden car accident, but his first love was the Lord Jesus Christ and that was his”dwelling place”, so he simply walked through a door to another placewithin “the dwelling” called Heaven.  For the believer death is not a thing to fear, we are simply moving locations to be near our Father.

Resist the temptation to fear or despair. Put your trust in God and abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.

    Bee

    Psalm 91

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
     2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
             And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
             And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
             And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
             Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

     14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
     15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
             I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
             And show him My salvation.”

  • Cosmic Rays Hit Record High!

This was VERY interesting!  It seems the “sunspots”, (that have been
mysteriously missing as of late,) are also responsible for keeping
cosmic rays from bombarding the earth, our satellites, and our
    astronauts in a harmful fashion.

If there are “odd” climate happenings
on our planet… I’m tellin ya… it is because of the SUN… we don’t
know half of what we need to know about how the sun really effects our
    solar system!

This article explains what they know of the cosmic ray / sunspot relationship.

  • Excellent Reminder!!

This devotional from Pastor Roy is so true! Read this carefully and
take to heart the thoughts here concerning HOW we share the truth with
    others.

    Blessings, Bee

“Without a doubt, we are living in a world controlled by people who are
in open rebellion to God. Working with hard hearted people requires
that we respond to them in ways that powerfully confront them with the
love and holiness of the God we serve.  When we give people eternal
truth, it’s important that we see ourselves as God sees us.  We aren’t
telling people what we think, we are telling people what God thinks.
If we apologize for God’s truth as we share it, it is clear that their
rebellion is stronger than our conviction and we won’t be trusted or
    believed.
When God called Ezekiel to be His prophet, He equipped him
to serve effectively in that dangerous time and place.  God promised
that He would make his servant stronger than his enemies and unafraid
of their rebellious reactions.  God promised him conviction that would
    effectively confront their rebellion.

The key to our effectiveness in sharing God’s truth is based on that
truth having it’s genuine effect on us first.
      God doesn’t want us
going around using his truth as a club that makes them look bad and us
look good.  He wants us  to wrestle with the truths He has given us as
people involved in the same cultural setting and in the same time
framework.  He wants us to have come to terms with His truth at a heart
level, not just a head level.  People who attack others with truth on
the head level stir up guilt, anger and resentment, but are powerless
to get people to react to the love that is always behind God’s warnings
    to us.
If God didn’t care about bad people, us included, He wouldn’t
warn us, He would just do away with us.
We are here as part of God’s
safety net to warn the few around us that are looking for truth and a
genuine relationship with God.  There is no way we can know the effect
God’s truth will have on others, but faithful obedience requires us to
focus on obedience, not the outcome.  May the Lord help us to never
give up the eternal ministry He has given us in our time and in His
    plan.
    “    Pastor Roy

    Ezekiel 3:8
But look, I have made you as obstinate and hardhearted as
they are. 9 I have made your forehead as hard as the hardest rock! So
don’t be afraid of them or fear their angry looks, even though they are
rebels.” 10 Then he added, “Son of man, let all my words sink deep into
your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself. 11 Then go
to your people in exile and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign
LORD says!’ Do this whether they listen to you or not.”

  • The Day of Atonement, (Yom Kippur)

Tomorrow.. Sunday is what is known as “The Day of Atonement”. It is one of the Jewish Fall Feasts.  It begins with a fast and it is a very somber day of soul-searching and repentance.

I think it is rather interesting that when Yom Kippur begins in Jerusalem at sunset tomorrow, 5:30pm Jerusalem time…. many of us will be in church, (or getting ready for church) as it will be 9:30am (central time) that this holy day begins.

As a “refresher”… here is a chart of the feasts and the possible prophetic fulfillments.  Some people disagree how and if these fall feasts will be fulfilled in this manner… but it would seem to me if the spring ones were fulfilled “to the day” by Christ, then these fall feasts must enter into the picture somewhere!

    Blessings, Bee
