  • Tell Your Story

No matter where all of us old “Xangans” end up, for those of us in the Christian community we need to continue to tell our story! … And we need to tell the TRUTH of our story, the good, the bad, the indifferent, because you know what…. God hates a “poser”! He called them “white washed tombs full of dead men’s bones.” When we put a plastic christian mask on.. the light of Christ is never going to shine through that! Be “for real” and learn to deal not only with real pain and disappointment in yourself but the pain and scars of others. We ALL have a story….

“We must learn to tell the story of our lives–how we impact others, how we’ve been damaged by others, how we feel about God–in order to disrupt the sinful attitudes and practices that still remain.  Telling our stories requires us to face painful truths about ourselves.  And once we’ve faced those truths, we will again feel the noble passions to love, to be, and to worship, passions planted in our hearts by God’s Spirit.”   - Larry Crabb

  • Christian Counseling Resource

A dear lady at our church has begun a much needed counseling service. She has pulled together a group of mature believers and counselors that can help with all sorts of needs, from marriage, to abuse, to health stuff. It is a phone counseling ministry that is much cheaper than going to a regular counselor. Anyway… just thought I would forward this information in case there is anyone who does need to reach out and just talk to someone… I know this would be a good, and biblically sound resource.

    Blessings, Bee
