 God's Protection
FROM SPIDERS!

WoW!!!  Have you ever had one of those times where you just get a "strong notion", like a still small voice nagging... and you just can't let it be... you have got to do something about it?

Well, that happened to me today... and it was CREEPY... and I am thanking and praising God for His protection!!

I kept having this thought I should go move the dog houses on the back porch and jet hose them to clean up for fall.  Something I could have forgotten about, and easily put off.  But the thought kept bugging me... all through lunch, laundry etc... I kept thinking "I have just got to jet hose the back porch".  So I did... and....
LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND BEHIND THE DOG HOUSE!!!
This black widow nest was right there where all those babies (5 egg sacks full, probably ready to pop) that could have crawled right up under the siding and into my walls to infest my house!  In fact they were right by the kitchen sink area of the wall, where I have a BIG HOLE where the pipes came through!  As you see in the picture the nest is drenched with "Real Kill" for hornets. Blech!!

But... Wow... I will be listening much more closely to that still small voice and get ready to ACT, when I think the Lord is prompting me to do something!!

Still Freaking Out... Bee

I know black widow spiders all too well. I've killed plenty of them in my backyard. I just want to NEVER see one in my house. Isn't it great to  LISTEN - OBEY  to the nudge of the Holy Spirit. GOD IS FAITHFUL!!  I'm glad you got 'em!!  Love ~Carolyn

Hallelujah! I'm glad the mother did not bite anyone and the children never hatched. RYC about Saddam Hussein/Third Reich subject: I know what you mean about Assad looking similar to Hitler. The demonic strongholds of hatreds attract the Nazis to the Arabs. Hating the God of Israel's People is simply Satanic. God has never broken His covenants.

Wow , that puts my spider collection in High School Bio. back into my mind . My friend Greg caught one of the black widows and put it into a Listerine bottle with some rubbing alcohol . His dad who was in his 70s took the bottle to the bathroom and stood in front of the sink then turned up the bottle and spit the alcohol all over the mirror and said a few bad words and said the mouth wash turned bad . Greg never told him what he put in the bottle and when his dad left he spoted the spider still in the bottle and brought it to me . I placed all the spiders in a clear acrylic resin so each one could be picked up and inspected . My wacky teacher did not believe I had a black widow since the alcohol soaked spider reacted to the acrylic to bleach it white . Even a professor at the University did not believe (so he said) but I showed the hour glass on the bottom and the placements of the eyes and shape of the body and he finaly said he believed with my friend telling him it was black with red on the belly . God bless your spider free weekend (I hope) !

I don't like spiders, and thankfully we've never seen any of these here where we live!  I know we have some Brown Recluse spiders in our area, which are also very poisonous, but I haven't seen those either!  Thankful, too, that your dog didn't get bit by it!!  ~It's been a little while since I came by, and I wanted to stop in to say hi, and see what interesting things you had posted to read!  And, I just have to come back more often!  In the meantime, you have a wonderful Friday!

Blessings ~ Deborah <><

YIKES! I would be freaking out, too! How wonderful that the Holy Spirit was busy protecting you and speaking to you. AND.... how wonderful that you listened!   I do believe there are many times we, as believers could be spared from things, if we would just focus on that still, small voice. I remember hurrying out the door and "hearing" TAKE YOUR UMBRELLA! Well, the day was clear and the sky was blue, so I just brushed that voice away. About an hour later, the sky was dark and it was pouring. How I wish I had listened! This was not a life threatening thing in any way, but it showed me how much God cares about even the small things, and how willing He is to help us if we will tune it. ** I am very  happy that there is not going to be a spider invasion at your house! Thank you, Lord! **Pray you are having a great weekend!

Oh, those things are nasty. We get lots of spiders here, but haven't encountered these scary ones. I'm glad you found them before they hatched!
